Side Effects of Keftaaz HS are Diarrhea, Increased white blood cell count (eosinophils), Injection site phlebitis, Skin rash, Increased liver enzymes, Positive Coombs test.

Side Effects of Keftaaz HS are Anaphylactic reaction, Encephalopathy, Neurotoxicity, Clostridium difficile associated diarrhea.

How Keftaaz HS Products work

Cefepime + Tazobactum is a combination of two medicines: Cefepime + Tazobactum1 and Cefepime + Tazobactum2. Cefepime + Tazobactum1 is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Cefepime + Tazobactum2 is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which blocks the action of enzymes produced by bacteria to inactivate cefepime. Addition of Cefepime + Tazobactum2 reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Cefepime + Tazobactum1 against bacteria.
