How Hebate Forte Products work

Beclometasone + Neomycin + Clotrimazole + Chlorocresol is a combination of four medicines: Beclometasone + Neomycin + Clotrimazole + Chlorocresol1, Beclometasone + Neomycin + Clotrimazole + Chlorocresol2, Beclometasone + Neomycin + Clotrimazole + Chlorocresol3, and Beclometasone + Neomycin + Clotrimazole + Chlorocresol4, which treat skin infections. Beclometasone + Neomycin + Clotrimazole + Chlorocresol1 is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Beclometasone + Neomycin + Clotrimazole + Chlorocresol2 is an antibiotic which kills bacteria by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Beclometasone + Neomycin + Clotrimazole + Chlorocresol3 is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from forming their own protective covering.

Patient Concerns about Hebate Forte Products

Frequently asked questions about Hebate Forte Products

Q. What is Hebate Forte Ointment used for?

Hebate Forte Ointment is used to treat certain skin infections associated with inflammation and infection-causing microorganisms. It may help relieve symptoms such as redness, itching, swelling, irritation, and discomfort while treating the underlying infection. It helps promote healing of affected skin by targeting different causes of infection and inflammation together.

Q. How does Hebate Forte Ointment work?

Hebate Forte Ointment contains beclometasone, neomycin, clotrimazole and chlorocresol, which work together to treat skin infections and relieve inflammation. Clotrimazole helps treat fungal infections by stopping the growth of fungi. Neomycin is an antibiotic that helps control certain bacteria that can cause skin infections. Chlorocresol is an antiseptic that helps prevent the growth of microorganisms. Beclometasone is a corticosteroid that helps reduce redness, swelling, itching and irritation. Together, these ingredients help control infection and provide relief from uncomfortable skin symptoms, supporting the healing process.

Q. Can Hebate Forte Ointment treat both fungal and bacterial skin infections?

Yes, Hebate Forte Ointment contains ingredients that can help treat certain bacterial and fungal skin infections at the same time. This may be useful when both types of microorganisms are involved or when there is a risk of secondary infection. However, it should only be used for the condition for which it has been prescribed.

Q. Can I use Hebate Forte Ointment on my face?

Use Hebate Forte Ointment on the face only if specifically advised by your doctor. Facial skin is more delicate and may be more sensitive to the effects of steroid-containing creams. Prolonged use on the face may increase the risk of unwanted skin changes, so follow the prescribed duration carefully.

Q. Can Hebate Forte Ointment be used on private parts or other sensitive areas?

Hebate Forte Ointment should only be used on sensitive areas such as the genital region if your doctor specifically prescribes it. The skin in these areas is more sensitive and may absorb more medicine. Do not self-treat infections in sensitive areas without proper medical evaluation.

Q. What should I do if Hebate Forte Ointment gets into my eyes, nose, or mouth?

If Hebate Forte Ointment accidentally comes into contact with your eyes, nose, or mouth, rinse the area thoroughly with plenty of clean water. If irritation continues or you experience discomfort after rinsing, seek medical advice to ensure that further treatment is not required.

Q. How long should I continue using Hebate Forte Ointment?

Continue using Hebate Forte Ointment for the full duration prescribed by your doctor, even if symptoms appear to improve earlier. Stopping treatment too soon may allow the infection to return or may not completely clear the underlying problem. Do not use it for longer than recommended without medical advice.

Q. How long does it usually take for Hebate Forte Ointment to start working?

Most people see improvement in itching, redness, or irritation within a few days of regular use. Depending on the type and severity of the infection, it may take longer to fully heal. Consistent use as directed helps achieve the best treatment outcome.

Q. What are the signs of an allergic reaction to Hebate Forte Ointment?

Although uncommon, a serious allergic reaction may cause severe itching, rash, swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, or difficulty breathing. If you notice any of these symptoms after applying Hebate Forte Ointment, stop using it and seek immediate medical attention.

Q. Can long-term use of Hebate Forte Ointment affect my skin?

Yes, long-term or excessive use of steroid-containing creams like Hebate Forte Ointment can increase the risk of thinning of the skin, stretch marks, changes in skin color, or increased skin sensitivity. These risks are reduced when the medicine is used only for the prescribed duration and only on the affected area.

Q. Can I apply Hebate Forte Ointment to open wounds, cuts, or severe burns?

Do not apply Hebate Forte Ointment to open wounds, deep cuts, severely damaged skin, or serious burns unless specifically instructed by your doctor. Applying it to these areas may increase absorption of the medicine and raise the likelihood of side effects.

Q. Can I cover the treated area with a bandage or dressing?

Do not cover the treated area with airtight bandages or dressings unless directed by your doctor. Occlusive dressings may increase absorption of the medicine through the skin and increase the chance of side effects, especially if used for long periods.

Q. Can I use moisturizers or other skincare products along with Hebate Forte Ointment?

You can often use moisturizers and other skincare products along with Hebate Forte Ointment. However, it is best to use them at different times and avoid applying multiple products together on the same area unless your doctor advises you to do so. This helps ensure the medicine works as intended.

Q. Can I stop using Hebate Forte Ointment once the infection looks better?

Even if your affected skin looks normal again, it is important to finish the prescribed course of treatment unless your doctor advises you to stop. If you stop treatment too soon, the infection may return and treatment may be less effective.

Q. What should I avoid while using Hebate Forte Ointment?

Do not get Hebate Forte Ointment in the eyes, mouth, or nose. Do not use Hebate Forte Ointment on unaffected skin. Do not use other medicated creams on the same area unless your doctor tells you to do so. Following the prescribed directions can help minimize irritation and reduce the risk of side effects.
