Clindamycin + Clotrimazole1 is an antibiotic which stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Clindamycin + Clotrimazole2 is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from making their protective covering. Together, they treat your infection effectively.
