Patient Concerns about Easy Six Products
Frequently asked questions about Easy Six Products
Frequently asked questions about Easy Six Products
Q. The use of Easy Six Vaccine is contraindicated in which conditions?
Easy Six Vaccine should not be given to a child who has had a severe allergic reaction to a previous dose of this vaccine or to any of its ingredients. It is also not recommended if the child has had serious reactions such as breathing difficulty, facial swelling, or a life-threatening allergic response after a past vaccination. The vaccine should not be used in children who have developed brain inflammation (encephalopathy) within 7 days after receiving a pertussis-containing vaccine, or in those who have uncontrolled epilepsy or other uncontrolled disorders affecting the brain and nervous system.
Q. Are there any important warnings and precautions associated with the use of Easy Six Vaccine?
Before vaccination, inform your doctor if your child has a moderate or high fever, an acute illness, a history of seizures, nervous system disorders, or previous unusual reactions after any pertussis vaccine. The doctor may decide to delay or reassess vaccination in such cases. Children with weakened immune systems may not develop full protection, although they can still receive the vaccine. Children with chronic illnesses, including chronic kidney problems, should also be assessed by the doctor before vaccination.
Q. How long does it take for the vaccine to be effective?
In general, the immune system builds protection gradually after each dose, and full immunity is achieved only after completing the full vaccination schedule recommended by your doctor. Parents should ensure their child receives every scheduled dose for the best protection.
Q. What if my child receives more than the recommended dose?
Easy Six Vaccine is administered only by trained healthcare professionals, so receiving more than the recommended dose is extremely unlikely. If it ever happens, the doctor will monitor the child for any unexpected reactions as a precaution. The leaflet does not report any specific symptoms related to overdose.
