This medicine is given as a single injection into your vein or as a continuous infusion into your vein. This is where the medicine is slowly given to you over a long period of time. Your doctor will decide the way you are given the medicine and the dose you will receive. This depends on your body weight, the amount and duration of muscle relaxation required, and your expected response to the medicine.

Cisatra Injection contains cisatracurium. Inform your doctor if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to it, or any other muscle relaxant, before you are given this medicine. Also, if you have reacted badly to an anesthetic before.

Q. What happens if you overdose on Cisatra Injection?

Since Cisatra Injection is given by a doctor in a hospital setting, an overdose is unlikely to occur.

Q. Can Cisatra Injection be given to breastfeeding women?

Yes, Cisatra Injection can be given to breastfeeding women with doctor's consultation. However, she should abstain from breastfeeding for 3 hours after the treatment discontinuation.
