How ADC Products work
Atropine + Chloramphenicol + Dexamethasone is a combination of three medicines: Atropine + Chloramphenicol + Dexamethasone1, Atropine + Chloramphenicol + Dexamethasone2 and Atropine + Chloramphenicol + Dexamethasone3. Atropine + Chloramphenicol + Dexamethasone1 is an anticholinergic medicine which works by making the pupil of your eye larger and relax the muscles in your eye. Atropine + Chloramphenicol + Dexamethasone2 is an antibiotic which stops bacterial growth by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Atropine + Chloramphenicol + Dexamethasone3 is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the eye red, swollen and itchy.

Your doctor will determine the length of the Adc Eye Drop treatment. Improvement is usually seen within two to three days, but the full course may last a week or more.
