Acebrel Plus

Acebrel Plus Syrup is used to relieve cough, thick mucus, chest congestion, and breathing difficulty, resulting from conditions like bronchitis, asthma, and other chronic respiratory diseases. It helps loosen mucus, clear mucus, and ease breathing by opening airways.

Individuals should not take Acebrel Plus Syrup if they are allergic to any of the ingredients, have certain heart diseases, severe liver or kidney impairment, an overactive thyroid, serious arrhythmias, or are in acute asthma attacks unless advised by a doctor. It is also not recommended for children under two years unless prescribed.

Before using Acebrel Plus Syrup, let your doctor know if you have diabetes, high blood pressure, a history of epilepsy (fits), thyroid issues, peptic ulcers, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Elderly patients may need extra monitoring for side effects like dizziness or drowsiness.

You should avoid combining Acebrel Plus Syrup with other bronchodilators, decongestants, certain antidepressants, diuretics, some antibiotics, or beta-blockers, as severe interactions may occur. Avoid caffeine, alcohol, or cold drinks, as they may worsen side effects or symptoms.

Acebrel Plus Syrup can cause drowsiness, dizziness, or blurred vision. Avoid driving, using machines, or doing activities needing alertness if affected.
