USG Aspiration-Small

USG (Ultrasonography or Ultrasound)- Aspiration is a diagnostic procedure that inserts a small needle into a suspicious mass to extract some cells which are then visualized under the microscope.

This test is prescribed by the doctor for aspiration of cyst in the breast, thyroid, lymph nodes, liver,and lungs. The test provides a clear picture of soft tissues that don't show up well on x-ray images.
