NCCT Chest Lower Half (Non Contrast Computed tomography of chest lower half is an imaging technique used to visualize the lower chest area. It helps detect any abnormality in the thorax, rib cage, lungs, heart, spinal cord, or any other surrounding tissues and muscles. This test is recommended to detect the cause of persistent fever, cough, or any abnormalities found in the plain x-ray.
It may also aid in the diagnosis of medical conditions such as bronchitis, pneumonia, tuberculosis, or tumors in the chest area.
