What is Gardasil 9 Injection? 

The Gardasil 9 Injection is a vaccine that protects against nine types of Human Papillomavirus (HPV). These are HPV types 6, 11, 16, 18, 31, 33, 45, 52, and 58. Some of these can cause cervical cancer, while others cause genital warts. This injection works by initiating a mild infection to stimulate the body's immune system. In turn, the immune system produces antibodies to protect against any future infections. It is essential to take the vaccine doses per the doctor's advice for adequate protection against the disease.

Who should get vaccinated?

• Children and adults ages 9 through 26 years
• Adults ages 27 through 45 years

Administration (For Adults only):

It will be administered by a trained healthcare professional. Kindly do not self-administer. For adults (between 15 to 45 years), the Gardasil 9 Vaccine is given in three doses, typically in intervals of 0, 2 and 6 months apart, with the initial dose given at 0 month.
