3D-Mammography

3D -Mammography uses X-Rays to create a 3-D image of the breast. It helps detect breast cancer in patients with or without the symptoms. It also helps find the cause of other defects like breast mass, pain, and nipple discharge. A 3D-mammogram is similar to a normal mammogram, but it uses multiple X-Rays to create a 3-D image along with a 2-D image of the breast. Regular mammograms can help detect breast cancer early and study any changes before they are visible. Mammograms can help detect cancer much earlier when it's most treatable and reduce the chances of death. Women with a family history of breast cancer or tumors or patients who have undergone surgery are at a higher risk. They should undergo regular screenings to avoid unnecessary tests and biopsies.
