3D CT Styloid Process

3D CT Styloid Process is a diagnostic imaging technique used to get a clear picture of the bones, soft tissues, and blood vessels around the styloid process. The styloid process is a pointed piece of the bone present just below your ears. This test is a painless, non-invasive, and highly accurate test in detecting any abnormality in the styloid process.

This technique helps identify any tumors or any abnormalities around the styloid process. This test is used to diagnose Eagle Syndrome, a rare condition of the styloid process. In this condition, the individual complains of pain in the face and neck along with headache, dizziness, difficulty in swallowing, and ringing in the ears. A radiologist will be able to read your test report.
