Overview
What is Venous Doppler Both Upper Limb?
Venous Doppler Both Upper Limb is an ultrasound that is performed to create a picture of veins, to examine the health of veins and blood flow.
This test is prescribed by the doctor to confirm the diagnosis of DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis), detect blood clots, and is used for diagnosing varicose veins, which may be caused by weakened valves (incompetent valves) within the veins that allow blood to pool instead of traveling to the heart.
