What is CECT Face And Neck?
Contrast Enhanced Computerized Tomography (CECT) Scan of the face and neck is a diagnostic procedure in which a contrast material is injected and the rotating beams of X-rays are used to create a detailed three dimensional image of the bones and soft tissues of the face and neck. The area covered in this test includes facial bones, air filled hollow sinuses, salivary glands, cervical vertebrae, larynx (voice box), larynx, windpipe (trachea) and epiglottis.
