Nalidixic Acid

Nalidixic Acid का इस्तेमाल जीवाण्विक संक्रमण में किया जाता है इसका इस्तेमाल त्वचा, नरम ऊतकों, मूत्र मार्ग, टॉन्सिल, साइनस, नाक, गला, श्वासनली, फेफड़ों (निमोनिया) और महिलाओं के जननांगो में होने वाले संक्रमण में भी किया जाता है।

Nalidixic Acid एक एंटीबायोटिक है। यह डीएनए प्रतिकृति को रोककर जीवाणुओं को नष्ट करता है।
