Ranitidine+Magaldrate+Ondansetron is used in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (acid reflux) and peptic ulcer disease.
How Ranitidine + Magaldrate + Ondansetron works
Ranitidine + Magaldrate + Ondansetron is a combination of three medicines: Ranitidine , Magaldrate and Ondansetron. Ranitidine is an antacid. It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which relieves acid-related indigestion and heartburn. Magaldrate is an inorganic salt that neutralizes excess acid in the stomach. Ondansetron is an antiemetic (anti-nausea medicine). It inhibits the action of serotonin, a chemical messenger that triggers nausea and vomiting.
Common side effects of Ranitidine + Magaldrate + Ondansetron
Diarrhea, Constipation, Headache, Drowsiness, Fatigue, Dryness in mouth, Muscle pain, Flushing of skin, Flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck and trunk)
