Ramucirumab Uses

Ramucirumab is used in the treatment of cancer of colon and rectum, stomach cancer and non-small cell lung cancer.

How Ramucirumab works

Ramucirumab is an anticancer medication. It works by blocking the ‘VEGF receptor 2’ thereby cutting off the blood supply to the cancer cells. This slows the growth of cancer cells and eventually kills them.

High blood pressure, Diarrhea, Headache, Protein in urine, Decreased potassium level in blood, Infection, Hemorrhage, Stomatitis (Inflammation of the mouth), Hair loss
