Loperamide + Furazolidone

Loperamide+Furazolidone is used in the treatment of infectious diarrhea.

Loperamide + Furazolidone is a combination of two medicines: Loperamide and Furazolidone which treat infectious diarrhoea. Loperamide is an opioid agonist which works by decreasing contraction of the intestines making the stools more solid and less frequent. Furazolidone is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria and other diarrhoea-causing microorganisms by damaging their DNA.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them
