Lanolin is used to treat and prevent dryness of skin, itching, scaling or skin irritation caused by burns due to radiation therapy, sun burns or nappy rashes. It is also used to treat sore and cracked nipples during breast feeding.

How it works

Lanolin belongs to a class of drugs called skin moisturizers. It works by hydrating outermost layer of the skin and promotes skin moisturizing.
