How Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose + Moxifloxacin + Prednisolone works

Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose + Moxifloxacin + Prednisolone is a combination of three medicines: Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, Moxifloxacin, and Prednisolone. Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose is a lubricant. It works similar to natural tears and provides temporary relief from burning and discomfort in the eyes. Moxifloxacin is an antibiotic which prevents bacterial cells from dividing and repairing. This kills the bacteria that cause eye infection. Prednisolone is a steroid. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that cause inflammation and make the eyes red, swollen and itchy.
