How Fluticasone Propionate + Fusidic Acid works
Fluticasone Propionate + Fusidic Acid is a combination of two medicines: Fluticasone Propionate and Fusidic Acid. Fluticasone Propionate is a steroid which works by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause inflammation (redness and swelling) and allergies. Fusidic Acid is an antibiotic. It works by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Thus, it stops the bacteria from growing, and prevents the infection from spreading.

Do not stop using it unless instructed, even if your skin condition appears to improve.

Be careful to avoid getting the cream into your eyes or on mucous membranes (e.g., inside your nose, mouth, or genital areas). If accidental contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
Wash your hands before and after applying the cream to prevent the transfer of the medication to other areas of your body or to other people.
