Flunarizine + Domperidone Uses

Flunarizine+Domperidone is used in the treatment of migraine.

How Flunarizine + Domperidone works

Flunarizine + Domperidone is a combination of two medicines : Flunarizine and Domperidone. Migraine headaches are thought to result from the dilation of blood vessels in the head. Flunarizine works by preventing loss of tone and dilation of blood vessels, thus preventing the migraine headache. Domperidone is a prokinetic. It works on the region in the brain that controls vomiting. It also acts on the upper digestive tract to increase the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing food to move more easily through the stomach.
