Eprosartan is used in the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure).

How it works

Eprosartan belongs to a class of medication called angiotensin II receptor antagonists. It works by preventing the contraction of blood vessels, allowing more blood to pass through, thereby lowering the blood pressure.
