Epalrestat+Pregabalin is used in the treatment of neuropathic pain.

How Epalrestat + Pregabalin works

Epalrestat + Pregabalin is a combination of two medicines: Epalrestat and Pregabalin which treat neuropathic pain. Epalrestat is an aldose reductase inhibitor. It blocks the accumulation of sorbitol in cells, which causes diabetic nerve disease. Pregabalin is an alpha 2 delta ligand which decreases pain by modulating calcium channel activity of the nerve cells.

Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhea, Drowsiness, Dizziness, Uncoordinated body movements, Increased liver enzymes
