How Efonidipine + Telmisartan works

Efonidipine + Telmisartan is a combination of two antihypertensive medicines: efonidipine and telmisartan. Efonidipine is a calcium channel blocker that regulates blood pressure by relaxing the blood vessels and reducing the pressure on them, making it easier for the heart to pump more blood throughout the body. Telmisartan works by blocking the action of certain natural substances (angiotensin II) that tighten the blood vessels, allowing the blood to flow more smoothly and the heart to pump more efficiently.

Efonidipine + Telmisartan is a combination of two medicines that provides better blood pressure control than either medicine alone.
Efonidipine + Telmisartan may cause dizziness or sleepiness. Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you.
It may cause you to feel lightheaded or weak especially when you stand up. Rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down.
