How Doxycycline + Bromhexine works
Doxycycline + Bromhexine is a combination of two medicines: Doxycycline and Bromhexine. Doxycycline is an antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Bromhexine is a mucolytic medication. It thins and loosens mucus (phlegm) in the nose, windpipe and lungs making it easier to cough out.
Common side effects of Doxycycline + Bromhexine
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them
