How Canagliflozin + Metformin works

Canagliflozin + Metformin is a combination of two antidiabetic medicines. Canagliflozin works by removing excess sugar from your body through urine. Metformin is also an anti-diabetic medication (biguanide). It works by lowering glucose production in the liver, delaying sugar (glucose) absorption from intestines and increasing the body's sensitivity to insulin. This is how it helps to control the level of blood sugar in the body.
