How atropine + hydrocortisone works
This is a combination of three medicines: Atropine and Hydrocortisone. Atropine is an anticholinergic medicine which works by making the pupil of your eye larger and relaxing the muscles in your eye. Hydrocortisone is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the eye red, swollen and itchy.
