Arterolane is used in the treatment of malaria caused by Plasmodium falciparum. It is usually given in a fixed dose combination with piperaquine phosphate.

How it works

Arterolane is a synthetic trioxolane compound. It rapidly kills the malarial parasite P. falciparum at all stages when present in the blood.

Nausea, Loss of appetite, Abdominal pain, Anemia, Cough, Diarrhoea, Dizziness, Fever, Headache, Indigestion, Vomiting
