How Fluticasone Propionate + Mupirocin works

Fluticasone Propionate + Mupirocin is a combination of two medicines: Fluticasone Propionate and Mupirocin, which treats skin infections. Fluticasone Propionate is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Mupirocin is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by destroying the bacterial cell membrane.

  • Fluticasone Propionate + Mupirocin must be applied as a thin layer on the affected area as prescribed by your doctor.
  • Do not use this medicine more often or for longer than advised by your doctor.
