Introduction

Poliomyelitis Oral Vaccine is a prescription medicine. This combination of three vaccines is used to prevent Polio infection. It promotes the immune system to act against the Polio virus to prevent Polio infections. This infection can occur in people of any age group.

Poliomyelitis Oral Vaccine is to be administered by mouth by healthcare professionals. It should be taken in the prescribed dose and duration. It is given during childhood.

How Poliomyelitis Suspension works

Poliomyelitis Oral Vaccine contains inactivated (killed) viruses of all three poliovirus types (I, II & III). It works by causing your body to produce its own protection (antibodies). In the event of infection, these antibodies prevent the spread of the virus to the brain and protect against paralysis.
