Uses

Meclizine is used to treat and prevent motion sickness; symptoms include urge to vomit (nausea), vomiting, and dizziness. It is also used in the management of spinning sensation due to problem in inner ear (vertigo).

How it works

Meclizine belongs to group of medicines called antihistaminic drugs. It works by acting against histamine and reduces the allergic effects of histamine.
