Chandraprabha Vati is an Ayurvedic preparation in which Chandra means moon and Prabha means glow. It consists of 37 ingredients.
Chandraprabha Vati might be useful in managing various urinary complications. It helps to prevent the formation of toxins and removes them through urine by increasing urine flow. It also helps to remove kidney stones by increasing the production of urine due to its diuretic activity. Chandraprabha Vati might also be used for managing erectile dysfunction due to its aphrodisiac property as it helps maintain an erection during sexual activity. Benefits of Chandraprabha Vati
1. Urinary Tract Infection
Chandraprabha Vati is one of the most useful Ayurvedic medicine for urinary tract infection. Urinary tract infection is described under the broad term of Mutrakcchra in Ayurveda. Mutra means ooze, krichra means painful. Thus, dysuria and painful urination are called Mutrakcchra. In urinary tract infection, Chandraprabha Vati helps to control burning sensation because it has Pitta balancing effect. It increases the urine flow and subsides the symptoms of UTI like burning sensation during urination.
