Zincovit Tablet with Multivitamin, Multimineral & Grape Seed Extract

Zincovit is an over-the-counter (OTC) nutritional supplement. It contains a combination of essential vitamins (A, B-complex, C, D, and E) and minerals (zinc, magnesium, selenium, copper, etc.). It also contains antioxidants such as grape seed extract, which together support multiple body functions. 

Zincovit tablet helps keep the body healthy. It supports immunity and helps reduce the frequency of infections. It helps with energy production and supports the heart, brain, and nerves in working properly. It also helps maintain the right balance of nutrients in the body. It contains antioxidants, which protect the body from harmful substances called free radicals and help reduce damage inside the body. Zincovit also helps in the formation of red blood cells and improves iron absorption. Both are important for healthy blood. It is especially useful when the body needs extra nutrients, such as during growing years, recovery after illness or surgery, pregnancy (only if advised by a doctor), or in old age.

The usual recommended dose is one tablet per day. It is preferably taken after food, as this reduces stomach discomfort. However, the doctor will decide the right dose and how long you should take it. Do not take more than the recommended dose. Do not take it with other multivitamins unless your doctor tells you to. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. Skip it if it is near the next dose. Do not double the dose.

What is the recommended dosage for Zincovit Tablet?

The doctor will determine the dose and duration based on your age, weight, and health condition. The usual dose is 1 tablet daily. 

What if you miss a dose?

Take Zincovit as soon as you remember if you miss a dose. If it is almost time for your next dose, do not take the missed dose. Instead, go back to your regular schedule. Do not take two doses at once. 

What if you take an overdose?

If you take too much of this supplement, it can lead to diarrhea, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, and headaches. If you have taken an excessive dose, call your doctor right away.

• Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet unless directed.

It is generally well tolerated in recommended doses. However, rarely at high doses, it may cause:

• Do not take the Zincovit with other calcium or iron supplements. This can reduce its absorption and effectiveness. Keep a gap between them.
• Avoid tea or coffee within 1 hour of taking the tablet. They can reduce nutrient absorption.
• Take antibiotics 2 hours before or 4–6 hours after taking Zincovit to avoid possible interactions.
• If you are already taking other multivitamins, tell your doctor to avoid exceeding the daily intake of these vitamins.
• If you take this tablet, watch out for symptoms such as persistent vomiting or stomach cramps. These may be signs of intolerance.
• Do not take this drug for a long period unless your doctor instructs you to. Too much might cause adverse effects such as nausea or a metallic taste.
