Unienzyme Liquid Pineapple contains two digestive enzymes, namely diastase and pepsin. Fungal diastase is a starch hydrolysing or amylolytic enzyme that may help to break down the starch into simple sugars (maltose) for easy digestion of carbohydrates, fats and proteins. Pepsin is a proteolytic enzyme (protein-digesting) that may help to break down larger protein molecules into smaller proteins (amino acids). Unienzyme Syrup may help promote the digestion of carbohydrates and proteins and also help to absorb the intestines essential nutrients.
