Personal Accidental Cover
In the case of accidents, a personal accident cover provides crucial financial security, offering up to ₹2 lakhs of coverage starting at just ₹99. It helps manage the overwhelming costs of medical treatment and other expenses arising from accidents, ensuring you're protected when you need it most.
Eligible Age: 18-80
Inclusions:
Accidental Death:
In the unfortunate event of an accident resulting in death, this cover provides 100% of the sum insured to the beneficiary, to help them with financial obligations.
PPD:
This coverage offers financial support up to the sum insured for permanent partial disabilities resulting from an accident.
PTD:
If an accident leads to a permanent total disability, this cover provides up to the full sum insured.
Accidental Hospitalisation:
This benefit covers hospitalisation expenses due to an accident, up to ₹20,000.
Claim process -
Here’s how you can raise a claim under this policy:
A. Claim intimation
- In case of unplanned hospitalisation, inform the TPA (Third Party Administrator) or insurer within 24 hours of admission
- In case of planned hospitalisation, inform the TPA or insurer 48 hours before admission.
Submit these details:
- Your name
- Claimant’s name and customer ID
- Hospital details
- Diagnosis and treatment details
- Approximate claim amount
- Date of admission
B. Claim process initiation
Fill out the claim form (available on https://www.careinsurance.com/). Send it to the TPA/insurer along with these documents:
- Original receipts/bills
- Discharge voucher
- Original chemist bills and supporting prescriptions
- Original investigative reports and payment receipts
- Case papers
- Doctor consultation papers and bills
- Any other document as requested by the TPA/insurer.

C. Claim Processing and Reimbursement
There can be 3 outcomes:
- Approval:
If your claim is approved, you will be informed about the same by the TPA/insurer - Information deficiency:
In case the TPA/insurer needs more information, you’ll be notified about the same for resolution - Rejection:
In case your claim is declined, you will be notified about the same along with the reasons for rejection. You can send across further documents, if any, to enhance the claim. If these are found to be acceptable, your claim may be reopened for review.
Expires on or after: September, 2025
A licensed vendor partner from your nearest location will deliver Personal Accident Cover. Once the pharmacy accepts your order, the details of the pharmacy will be shared with you.
