Directions For Use:

• Wash hands carefully

• Boil bowl, bottle and other utensils

• Boil fresh drinking water and cool it up to approx. 40 C

• Consult the feeding table. Pour the correct amount of lukewarm water into the sterilised feeding bowl or bottle

• Fill the enclosed scoop with NEUCOMIL ADVANCE-1 powder as indicated in the table. Make sure that scoops are levelled

• Mix until completely dissolved. Feed with a bowl and spoon. Clean the utensils thoroughly after use

• Standard Reconstitution is 1 level scoop (approximately 4.8g) of powder for each 30 ml of water

• Only use the scoop provided in the tin

• 1 litre milk = 140g powder + 900ml water

• Consult your baby’s doctor about how much your baby should consume. Feeding table is suggested only; every baby is different

• When the baby is over 6 months, Neucromil-2 is suggested to meet nutritional needs

• Infants above 6 months should receive supplemental food in addition to formula – consult your doctor

Storage Information:

• Store unopened tin at normal room temperature

• Cover the opened tin and store in a cool, dry place (not in the refrigerator)

• Prepare only 1 feed at a time. Feed instantly to child, do not preserve

• Infant milk food is not the sole source of nourishment

• Breast milk is best for babies, as it can prevent diarrhoea

• From age 7 months, replace second feed with a meal consisting of fruits, vegetables, meat, or fish with rice or cereals

• Unboiled water, unboiled utensils or incorrect dilution can make your baby ill. Incorrect storage, handling, preparation and feeding can potentially lead to adverse effects on the health of your baby

• Do not heat feeds in the microwave, hot spots may occur and cause scalding

• Only prepare one feed at a time. Feed immediately and follow the instructions exactly. Boiled and cooled water shall be used to prepare this product and any leftover product must be discarded to reduce the risk of infection

• Always hold the baby while feeding. Leaving the baby unattended may cause choking. Infant milk substitutes should be used only on the advice of a health worker as to the need for its use and the proper method of its use

• Infant milk substitute is not the sole source of nourishment of an infant. Careful and hygienic preparation of infant milk substitutes is most essential for health

• Do not use fewer scoops than directed, since diluted feeding will not provide adequate nutrition needed by your infant

• Do not use more scoops than directed, since concentrated feed will not provide the water needed by your infant

• Ensure enclosed scoop is washed and thoroughly dried before use

• After opening, use the contents within 3 weeks or by the expiry date, whichever is earlier
