Bard Hickman Dual lumen CV Catheter 9F is an intravenous (IV) tube made of soft silicone. It may have two or three tubes (lumens) lying inside a casing. The Hickman line is a soft, small, long and hollow tube placed into a vein in the chest and ends in a larger vein just above your heart. It is ideal for the administration of chemotherapy or other medications and the withdrawal of blood for analysis.
