Voglibose + Repaglinide + Metformin is a combination of three antidiabetic medicines: Voglibose + Repaglinide + Metformin1, Voglibose + Repaglinide + Metformin2 and Voglibose + Repaglinide + Metformin3. Voglibose + Repaglinide + Metformin1 suppresses the intestinal enzymes that cause breakdown of complex sugars into simple sugars such as glucose, thereby delaying glucose absorption. Voglibose + Repaglinide + Metformin2 increases the amount of insulin (glucose lowering hormone) released from the pancreas during meals. Together, they prevent blood sugar from rising very high after meals. Voglibose + Repaglinide + Metformin3 works by lowering glucose production in the liver, delaying glucose absorption from intestines and increasing the body's sensitivity to insulin.
