What is Allergy, Individual Marker, Cockroach?
Some people show severe allergies to cockroach bite, whereas others may even be allergic to cockroach saliva, feces, and shedded dead skin cells of cockroaches. If you experience symptoms such as watery or itchy eyes, rashes, sneezing, nasal congestion, sinus infection owing to the presence of cockroaches, then it is recommended that you take a specific allergen test.
This allergy can be detected by a simple blood test where IgE levels are checked. If IgE levels increase, then a specific allergen is present. Keep your house and surroundings clean to prevent allergy.

Interpretations
* If your total IgE level is increased, it usually indicates that you are suffering from one or more allergies. Sometimes, increased levels are also associated with parasitic infections. * An elevated IgE indicates an allergic process but does not indicate what a person is allergic to. In general, the greater the number of things a person is allergic to, the higher is the IgE level.
