Tegafur is taken along with gimeracil, oteracil or uracil for the treatment of various types of cancers, including bowel cancer and advanced stomach cancer.

How it works

Tegafur is an antineoplastic agent that belongs to class of medicines known as fluoropyrimidine. It works by stopping the growth of cancer cells.
