Sucralfate (topical) + Metronidazole Topical + Povidone Iodine is a combination of three medicines: Sucralfate (topical) , Metronidazole Topical and Povidone Iodine. Sucralfate (topical) is an anti-ulcer medicine which covers the damaged tissue and protects it against injury to facilitate healing. Metronidazole Topical is an antibiotic. It kills the bacteria and other microorganisms that cause infections by damaging the DNA. Povidone Iodine is an antiseptic. It slowly releases iodine which kills or prevents the growth of infectious microorganisms.
