- Take it at the same time every day to help you remember to take it.

- It may increase your weight, blood sugar and cholesterol. Eat healthy, exercise regularly and monitor your blood levels regularly.
- Use caution while driving or doing anything that requires concentration as Pimozide can cause dizziness and sleepiness.
- Inform your doctor if you experience symptoms such as high fever, sweating, muscle stiffness, and faster breathing. These may be due to a rare side effect known as a neuroleptic malignant syndrome.
- Do not stop taking Pimozide without talking to your doctor first as it may cause a worsening of symptoms.
