Phenazopyridine is not an antibiotic. It works by blocking pain signals from the nerves to the brain which decreases the sensation of pain.

- Do not take it for more than 2 days. Consult the doctor if symptoms persist even after 2 days.
- It might make you feel dizzy. If this happens, avoid driving or operating on machinery.
