How Paracetamol + Phenylephrine + Cetirizine + Bromhexine works
Paracetamol + Phenylephrine + Cetirizine + Bromhexine is a combination of four medicines: Paracetamol, Phenylephrine, Cetirizine, and Bromhexine. Paracetamol works by blocking the action of chemical messengers responsible for pain, fever and inflammation (redness and swelling). Phenylephrine is a decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose. Cetirizine is an antihistamine medication. It treats allergy symptoms such as itching, swelling, and rashes by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger (histamine) in the body. Bromhexine is a mucolytic medication. It thins and loosens mucus (phlegm) in the nose, windpipe and lungs making it easier to cough out.
