Norfloxacin is an antibiotic. It works by stopping the action of a bacterial enzyme called DNA-gyrase. This prevents the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing them. Metronidazole is an antibiotic. It kills the bacteria and other microorganisms that cause infections by damaging their DNA. Activated Dimethicone/Simethicone is an antifoaming medicine. It disintegrates gas bubbles and allows easy passage of gas.
