Lidocaine Topical + Metronidazole Topical + Sucralfate (topical) is a combination of three medicines: Lidocaine Topical , Metronidazole Topical and Sucralfate (topical). Lidocaine Topical is a local anesthetic. It works by blocking pain signals from the nerves to brain which decreases pain sensation. Metronidazole Topical is an antibiotic. It kills the bacteria and other microorganisms that cause infections by damaging the DNA. Sucralfate (topical) is an anti-ulcerant which forms a coating over the affected area of skin. This creates a physical barrier that protects the skin from further other injury, allowing it to heal.
