Uses

Lactase is used in the treatment of indigestion and pancreatitis.

How it works

Lactase belongs to a class of drugs called digestive enzymes. Lactase is an enzyme that splits the milk sugar lactose, to produce the sugars glucose and galactose and thus help in the digestion of milk and other dairy products.

Dizziness, Shortness of breath, Flushing, Gastrointestinal disturbance, Itching, Decreased white blood cell count
