- Cycloserine is used in combination with other medicines for the treatment of tuberculosis.
- Take it at the same time every day to help you remember to take it.
- Cycloserine may cause dizziness or sleepiness. Do not drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you.
- Avoid drinking alcohol while taking Cycloserine as this may worsen the side effects.
- During treatment, you will need to have regular blood tests to monitor your kidney and liver function, blood cell counts and the amount of medicine in your blood.
- Stop taking Cycloserine and inform your doctor if you experience skin rashes, headaches, tremor, fits, problems with speech or movement, depression, or other changes in mood, thoughts or behavior.
- Do not stop taking this medicine until your doctor tells you to.
