How Cyclopentolate + Dexamethasone works

Cyclopentolate + Dexamethasone is a combination of two medicines: Cyclopentolate and Dexamethasone which relieve eye pain. Cyclopentolate is used to dilate or enlarge the pupil of the eye so that the doctor can examine the back of the eyeball. It may also be used to reduce pain in certain eye conditions. Dexamethasone belongs to a group of medicines called corticosteroids. It prevents late phase allergic reactions by preventing release of chemicals responsible for allergy.
